Application
Magnakote ZW is highly thixotropic water based zircon coating in a creamy
consistency. It is applied in ready to use form and hence requires minimum preparation. The uniform layer deposition and high refractory filler ensures excellent casting finish for iron & steel castings. Magnakote - ZW is particularly useful in critical castings like impellers where fettling is very difficult.

Faster Drying : Use of speciality chemicals in Magnakot ZW imparts it fast drying characteristic. This helps in quicker delivery of cores / Moulds to moulding line.
Instructions
In order to get best out of product, it is essential to mix Magnakote ZW properly before use. The manual mixing by hand is sufficient to make it homogeneous.
Apply Magankote ZW on moulds/ cores by brushing / Spraying / Dipping. Allow it to air dry for about half an hour. The moulds / cores can then be dried in oven or by torching.
Magnakote ZW is ideally suitable for moulds and cores made of alkyd, phenolic no bake and cold box binders.
